Telecoms elbow in on energy

An interesting article in the AFR today about the future of energy supply and the potential for Apple, Amazon and Google to enter the energy supply market as people look for energy efficient means of powering all their home gadgetry.

Specifically mention:
"Telecommunications and cable companies were also elbowing in on energy as they bundled together services for customers"

Should we credit M2 with forward thinking and congratulate them on already gaining a foothold (small) in energy supply.  I like it when I read stories such as this and realise a company I have an interest in already has future thinking in its strategy.
