"some investors thinking we may have hit a bottom" – I strongly agree that this is the most likely explanation. For my part, I believe we still have some way to fall in the broad market. I expect that with each new outbreak in a previously unaffected area – particularly economically significant areas – will see a fresh wave of uncertainty and dread wash through the markets. Look at any correction or crash and you see little spikes of optimism break out before the next round of bad news washes everything before it. I'm not expecting a realistic perspective to emerge about Covid19 until May at the earliest. I wouldn't be surprised if things are still difficult in August.
With respect to Resapp's share price specifically, I wouldn't like to take a guess. I have plenty on it at the moment, still in profit luckily, but I won't be chancing more on it at this stage.
