I mean that's the risk with specs. If you're wanting something relatively safe and stable than this is not the investment type you should be considering. Specs are high reward when you pick them right, but are also very high risk. Regardless the RAP story is far from over, this still could still very well turn into the opportunity we are all hoping. Either way time will tell.

The way investing in specs typically works (if you're long and not trading them) is you'll have many bad picks but one will do so well it more than makes up for all the other duds.

On the bright side it could be much worse, at least we didn't have the board come out and say that the product never worked and they're ceasing all operations. Had one company do that, -97% at open haha.
