just so you are aware we get paid $40.10 to perform a chest xray (not the make believe 200-300 that keeps getting posted on this forum) and that cost is lower than 15 years ago while radiology costs have 10x increased.
all technology is complementary and one will not reduce the other. it is the unison of multiple diagnostic paths that leads to better medical outcomes
every patient that has a positive pneumonia diagnosis from resapp WILL have a chest xray as it WILL NOT show the severity of disease just that you have it.
im a long term holder of this and very bullish on our outlook but we are just one step in the process to help clinicians treat patients and will not be the gold standard end of the line test some here keep suggesting.
