A doctor with a Stethoscope can't accurately diagnose pneumonia solely from that sound. They take x-rays and do a spirometry test as well which are expensive and time consuming. Even then, they hardly seem to agree with each other as was demonstrated in the clinical trials.
Why on earth would you attached the app to a stethoscope? The doc can still use the stethoscope if they really want when they're using the app in an in person clinical basis, but the point is that the app can hear things that most Doc's can't, that's the advantage.
Also, and the main point, how will an app attached to a stethoscope help over a telehealth call? Need a bloody long piece of string to get them working...
