It's a bit of mystery with the delayed feasibility study, one can only speculate the reasonings behind the delay. But yes, I think it's a reasonable chance that mining plans might be changed to consider a larger ore body and resource. Although that will add years to development timeframes.
I agree, Newcrest shouldn't be sitting on their hands with such a massive scale gold/copper project in Havieron.
