Yes, Telfer will start losing money very soon, from last week's ann the AISC has substantially risen by 33%! to $1900 oz. And that will move into negative territory in next 12-18 months.
From Newcrest's "body language", they speak very highly of Antipa, and they seem to think Minyari Dome is the real deal, after all, Minyari Dome was always considered as a possible alternative ore source for Telfer for decades.
For me, it's the left-field, unexpected type of news that's always a possibility, that keeps me motivated. But I think we can all confidently speculate that high-grade gold will continue to be found at Minyari Dome.
