Two things are required to get a mine licence in Congo.
A pre feasibility study and an Environmental Impact Statement.
AKI have done zip other than the drilling.
They keep telling everyone they will beat us to production. I can tell you with good authority the above two things will take 18 months to finalise. Thats June 2013 without rail siding and port completed. Have they ordered Loco's and wagons. Nope. Haven't agreed rail access yet.
They are lazy and just waiting for a takeover offer. Didn't even have a CEO until a few months ago.
I am not anti AKI but just cannot understand why related parties make comments which conflict with what is required or happening on the ground.
Great talkers but not much else.
