Had a big project on in Pt Hedland recently and had to drive up because of all the gear we had to take up. Drove the alternate route to Newman then on to Pt Hedland. Unbelievable what is happening there. Accomodation , just could not get it in Newman and scarce in Pt Hedland. Drove back the coastal route and the amount of equipment on roadtrains etc going up is just mindblowing. It is a supercycle and I wish I had bought real estate in the Pilbara. Until you see it and supply to the mining cos only then can you fully comprehend. Resultant benefits will continue to flow to Perth once things settle soon.
