Plenty of polls got the 2016 results right Jambo; Rasmussen is simply one of many.
But if you want to talk about accuracy, let's have a look at the 2018 midterms. Rasmussen predicted a GOP victory by 1 point. In the end, they got slaughtered coast-to-coast and suffered one of their worst results in history, with the Democrats winning by nine percentage points.
How on earth Rasmussen got that so horribly wrong I will never know- but I sure as hell didn't trust them then and I certainly don't trust them now.
