not at all mate, i hate to use to buzzwords but couldn't think of a more accurate term. and yes, the climate has already changed, but what's happening now is well outside the natural ranges in both magnitude and velocity.
i don't recall saying anything about solar or wind, i think we should be looking at hydrogen more seriously. having said that though, both solar and wind are more effective long term solutions than coal or gas. look up the sun cable project, or craig kelly's senate hearing with the NAB ceo last week.
