It isn't about speeding anything up, it is about creating value...

It isn't about speeding anything up, it is about creating value for shareholders and on that count they are dead in the water. They just don't know how to do it.

For instance, anyone with a bit of sense would either sell the drug on some future revenue and forward PE model with a discount and royalty retainer for possible FDA objections if they are so sure it is what they say it is. Thereby getting in much needed cash to develop the next one.

Or they could hand it over to people who are experienced in the ways of the FDA and focus on what they are good at...developing drugs.

These guys are chemists not FDA paper pushers.
