Was there to be an announcement this week on the 'discussions' between Newcrest and Macmahon on the future of the Telfer contract?
I thought 5 August was the deadline?
This, IMHO is one of the weights holding the SP back, if the contract dispute is not resolved my understanding is there remains the possibility Macmahon will declare it onerous which would no doubt result in a non cash provision to the books, $30m ish........
