    Who is going to be the judge of what is or is not a lie ? Just because a politician accuses his opponent of "lying" doesn't mean that is true.

    It will all end up in a forever argument and by the time that is sorted out the election is well over.

    Also, how can you prove that a lie has a material impact on an election outcome ?
