Telstra is in a monopoly position ,what does he mean they cant compete!! Share holder value-what does that actually mean to the customer---SQUAT!! Regional telecommunications are already third world and I would love to see the american models he is going on about-Maybe worldcom!!! [ha,ha]. America has a huge population and the reality for us is that telecommunications needs to be subsidised to some extent. Go johnny go johnny, go johnny go--------- Anyway whats a bloody yank doing running telstra in the first place--getting it ready for the uncle sam takeover of australia maybe.
