re: a discussion about t3 I feel that there are some profit downgrades in the pipeline before end of this financial year. The dumping of Telstra products has been increasing at a rate faster than anyone expected. Their revenue stream is being destroyed at a rate too fast for the management to look into other growth options.
This year will see all of Telstra's main competitors having a running 3G network (where TLS only own half of Hutchison Three). Also, with the sale of Virgin Mobile to Optus Telstra will no longer have the largest share of the mobile phone market. The cracks are surfacing!
I doubt that $4.30 will be sustained. Infact, I don't think it will ever get back to $5. Telstra will soon be a distant memory. Probably bought out by someone else in the end at a very cheap price.
