telstra customers charged for paying bills, page-36

What maintenance? What are you talking about - wear and tear? Rubbish. Telstra have milked customers over the copper network since day one, but have accelerated line rentals since (partial) privatization.

Telstra makes some extraordinary profits but still insists on finding ways to milk the Australian people even further - so in my book it deserves a "big serve" at regular intervals.

As to billing arrangements, I could say that Telstra was an early adapter and helped pioneer billing of bill payments. This is an example of coy's spruiking "improved" service/s, lowering costs, etc., and then when a majority are on-board turning around and biting its customers.

Not everyone wants their bank-account linked to Telstra and with good bloody reason.
