Telstra cuts 8000 jobs, page-5

Their many IT service provider companies that they have are bloody awful. They are incredibly slow, so many levels of red tape and their quality is terrible. They also dont deviate what is outside of their statement of works by even a little when common sense indicates they need to in order to deliver a solution ...well not without charging like a wounded bull....and I and many other IT contract workers have quit our jobs and moved to other organisations just so we wouldnt have to deal with them on a daily basis as customers. Lets hope this clean out will also help streamline their business processes. Worst IT service provider i have ever worked with and ive been in IT for over 20yrs
