Telstra InfraCo has now also become fully operational. It is a standalone infrastructure business unit controlling assets with a book value of around $11 billion.We will provide a further update on our planned next steps for Telstra InfraCo at our Investor Day in November. This will include a deep dive into the opportunities for increased operational efficiency and increased value generation as well as the next steps towards potential monetisation.

In the event of any eventual privatisation of the nbn this may include the opportunity for Telstra to work with government on solutions for the nbn that might provide increased value for Telstra shareholders, the government and the community.
Who cares about the dividend this will add so much value to the share price and dividends long term if they cut this next dividend it's probably a blessing.
