The problem is not the yield.
The problem is lack of future direction which gives any hope that the dividend ( or share price ) can be maintained.
When my Telstra broadband contract finished in 11/17 I will be going to wireless with the cheapest provider and saving the cost of landline rental.
NBN service ( speed and outages ) have made the cost of my "premium"Telstra subscription a joke
