I like the way u write Aussie-centric. Who do u think runs TLS, AMP, QBE, TAH etc etc and what do they all have in common failed Aussie mgts. many of these cos are trading at a third of their prices 10 or even 20 years ago. The only 2 cos i would invest here are BHP or RIO and thats only because they are foreign owned.

Aussies cannot run business and the stock market here is the worst performing and for good reason. This is at a time when the US and many other countries are trading at all time highs. T & VZ are near their highs and figured ways to fend off their competitors. Get rid of Penn and who do u get another ordinary Aussie to run the show and most likely fail.


I am sick and tired of poor mgt skills of people in this country. Its time to recruit people from different backgrounds to run companies. I for one would be happy if an Aussie does not take the reins.


My only goal now is to divest out of cos here when I get a chance.
