Have you compared internet browsing on 3G?
Optus/VHA all provide useless 3G and half the time iphones do not get a signal even in capital cities!
Wireless is the future, I cannot live for a day without 3G Telstra ipad. You can lay a line and replicate telstra fixed line performance but you need a lot more infrastructure to get quality 3G to cover 99% Australia. This is where VHA and optus fail so badly on! Half the places in Sydney cannot get 3G signal despite what they advertise!
Once you try Telstra 3G, you do not want to go back. $20 a month for 1GB data on ipad, I can make cheap/free calls with voip applications and never miss a dump anywhere.
