re: tls will be sold. Constitutionally speaking he has the right and obligation to govern in the best interests of all Australians.
Whilst I can't stand the man, if he can get his TLS policy through both houses of parliament, it is legitimate.
As I understand it referenda are used to agree changes to the constitution, not implement or deny policy decisions.
