It must be that cheap "component" they have been using of late. Anything outsourced overseas or to overseas resources?
What is the point in telling the world about all this wonderful technology one uses if they can't prevent their mobile network from crashing on a monthly basis?
Telstra must come forward and tell everyone the real reason behind all these critical incidents.
One techo and/or one faulty switch should not be allowed to cause this much damage. No single resource should be allowed to bring an entire network down.
There is gotta to be something else very wrong within Telstra, or whomever designed this network never heard the word "redundancy".
