all telcos have these same issues. but with Telstra, at least you can talk to them personally at a Telstra shop ,and if you have more complex issues, you can see an 'expert' from their Techbar.
i think that customer service is pretty awesome overall .
i am currently month to month with Telstra and even though i could theoretically save a few bucks by shopping around, it is still just false economy and not worth the risk.
do yourself a favor and read the customer reviews from other telcos.
