Telstra Purple

I know it's a few months since it happened, but what do we think about the new 'Telstra Purple' business? (apart from the terrible name).

"Telstra Purple, said to be Australia's largest technology services business, has been formed by combining Telstra Enterprise's business technology services with several companies that the communications giant has acquired.Telstra Purple – the name supposedly comes from a combination of "purpose" and "people" – offers professional and technology managed services including network, data centre, security, cloud, augmented reality, workplace and mobility, data and analytics and design services.

The newly formed business incorporates VMTech, MSC, Readify, Kloud, Bridgepoint, O2, NSC, iVision, and Company85.

"We wanted to be able to better address the needs of our customers by bringing our acquired entities and technology services capabilities together, but we also wanted to maintain the unique culture of each company," said Telstra Enterprise group executive Michael Ebeid. "We did not want to unpick what has made them successful as individual companies."
