I think we should put it too the board to break Telstra up into 2 separate entities to break the Government shackles on it. I have just brought in again as it seems super cheap and unloved around $2.80 level, it's a tech company run like a government agency that is slowly implementing tech into platforms and reducing headcount.
It's been a slow burn but as a sum of parts i think TLS is worth north of $4 easily, either divest into a seperate company or do a deal with the Government's NBN and put the foot down on the future 5G network etc.
Australia needs TLS as it's got by far the best country wide coverage and light years ahead of the competition in technology but has and in the current state always be fighting with one hand cuffed behind it's back from the Government.
TLS needs an insto investor to buy in big rattle the board to make a call on the company structure and let it grow earnings and profits.......
It's old/Boring and lots of sour grape shareholders underwater but at this price it's a massive buy, we just need an investment bank or active shareholder to buy a large stake and rattle the feathers.
