I just kept trading and reinvesting all the cash back in into new shares (crap shares)and that worked when the market was going up for most of the eighties,I was in fact gambling and did not know because in a rising market almost everything goes up.
The crash in October almost wiped me out and I sold and made huge losses and regrouped later on buying Dominion mining for .40c and selling for $1.80.
I had to borrow to pay my tax bill for tax year 86/87 and sell a unit in East St Kilda,lesson learned.
