re: telstra needs to install hotspots ADSL2 represents an intermediate technology that said why dont they focus on residential custoemrs ??? or offer subsidies to anyone willing to take the risk (open it to telstra competitors)
Schools, government offices etc - political grandstanding me thinks - oh well telstra competitors gaining market share at the expense of the slow moving telstra - and its not just fibre optics either other sections of telstra have been to slow to catch up to nimble, more profitable and smarter competitors.
