remember it was opposition from ALP, Democrats that lead to the half ar se selling of TLS. Look at CBA, Qantas etc sold off in short time spans and look at the success these business have been
TLS has been long held back by govt ownership - reduced capacity to borrow funds, the the overhang of the sale process has meant that capital expansion plans are restricted etc
Why do govt need to operate core businesses, they can't manage our taxes effeciently so why expect them to manage businesses efficently
