everything depends on your entry price...imagine many shareholders, particularly long term, are under water at this stage...i'm one and kicking myself for being deer in headlights...
annual dividend amounts to 31c per share...price has fallen by multiples of that in the past 2 weeks...so capital loss already exceeds dividend payout...bad deal imo
shareholders are exposed to ACCC decision...if it's against telstra sp will start with a 3...next dividend is months away...makes sense to eliminate worry of ACCC decision by selling out now...
sp will either drift lower or stay flat until that decision...do you want risk losing another 50-75c per share HOPING things go telstra's way?
best case scenario for me is sp around $4.5 two years from now
