Yr post seems to make a lot of sense Flight,i have a gmail because tls could not connect me with an email for almost a month,it took me 2 minutes to get a gmail as recommended by a friend.
This is what concerns me about tls and the variety of R&D technology,as u suggest y try and compete with already proven efficient platforms / services when tls has proven they can not compete..
Tls needs to do what it does best ,control the connectivity networks and partner/jv with companies that have proven their business models.
ps and y i'm still excited about tls's potential in energy,its something tls can operate,not e health,ooyala and maybe as u suggest competing platforms against gmail etc
