IMO Alan Kohler has consistently taken a position unfavourable to Telstra and has lost credibility as a consequence.
Vested interests at work here endeavouring to undermine the position of Telstra.
What role should Optus have in determining the price the Government pays to Telstra to acquire Telstra's assets and market base? Surely it is obvious that Optus interests will do whatever they can to undermine Telstra to benefit their own company. Many similar voices singing the same tune and the government incapable of seeing the facts.
I would prefer Telstra to walk away and run their own business than to be pilloried by the Government urged on by Telstra's competitors.
Telstra have the ability to run a healthy business which there is serious doubt that the Government/NBN have.
