Some time ago I asked a question about the IGO TEM technology. Given that they have had so much success with this electromagnetic imaging technology why is it that others have not embraced it?
I have now found the reason. At one of the AGM gatherings we were given the latest Resource Stocks magazine. I have only now got around to glancing at these company hand out stories. One of the articles was on IGO.
Chris Bonwick when asked whether the company was going to patent TEM replied that by doing so would only allow others to copy the technology. By not doing he says that it is winning Independence a number of joint ventures as other companies realise the benefits the technology can bring them.
The following joint ventures were offered as proof to that statement. Duketon, the Lake Lefroy project, the Musgrave JV, a JV with Cauldron Energy in the Bungalbin project, the Orrbacken nickel project, another project called Jeannie River and the Birrindudu project.
