    Scientifically, you don't need to look at more than two graphs. Or more than one graph. If you have a theory that increasing CO2 levels should increase temperature levels over a fifteen year period, and you have a graph of hard data that shows that temperatures haven't increased - in fact, the trend is downwards - then a real scientist will admit they were wrong and look for something else to do.

    Not go and adjust the data to suit his grant requirements.
