Not sure why they would make a milestone payment as it seemed from last update on the collaboration that the previous extension of deal and up front payment at the time of extension would carry them through to 2019 before Genentech had to commit further? Seemed like a very open ended extension with no interim milestones at the time of announcement. I guess the positive is it still seems currently very active, i just hope we arent showing them how to do everything without us when the time comes. It would be good to see at least one collaboration actually get some serious results a partner values.
