We may see a spike in commodity prices next week Imo. News which has come about after US market close is that 10% of global shipping will be affected as major shipping companies pull out of Middle East trade routes. This is due to attacks from groups in Yemen, Lebanon etc who are targeting Israeli affiliated ships. There are 2 USA carrier strike force groups in the region and these companies such as Maersk are still pulling the pin. If that can’t fix the situation then I am not sure what can. This could escalate and cause serious supply issues, thus forcing up many commodity prices. Silver alone should spike due to the safety haven factor. Interesting week coming up!
