As with the development of Rössing Mine, the cycle of challenges of establishing new mines and managing potential social, economic and environmental changes will start. Looking back over 30 years of experience in managing these responsibly, Rössing Uranium is in an excellent position to work with new mine developers for the benefit and sustainability of the entire country. For Namibia to become a major uranium supplier worldwide, all stakeholder efforts could be combined to manage the social and environmental aspects responsibly, and to promote Namibia as a uranium supply country of choice.
