These facts would be evidence that the Bible is the word of God, and its promise of Heaven and threat of Hell are therefore not to be mocked or ignored.

The ''threat of Hell'' is what has led to many turning away from religion in disgust,The Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek equivalent Hades are properly translated Grave, from which billions that have died will be resurrected.
(Acts 24:15) And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Whereas the ''unrighteous'' will be raised to life again here on earth where they will be taught the truth from God's word, there is no such hope for those that know the truth but reject the opportunity to live by it. They came from non existence and that is the place to which they will return.
(Genesis 3:19) In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.”
