Following a price correction it used to be true that within five years the market would double in value from the low. One of the reasons investors put their money in the market but timing was everything.
With shorting more prevalent in Aussie market that didn't happen the last time!
Thus ensuring Aussie Share Market lost its position as the best returning Aussie investment market with its added risk.
Aussie property best returning investment market since last price correction and less risky!
So short selling, the vehicle Wall St and it's cronies use to skim the cream of the top of the aussie share market is most certainly damaging the aussie share market its damaging the returns to aussie superannuants (mum and dads) as well.
