yes....subprime looks set to eat away at us
we are still in the early stages of reporting on this, in terms of losses and whose taking the hits....hedge funds have investors/loans from banks....KKR seem to be early birds and are out with a 5% hit (240m losses from a 5.1b invested).....even using that 5% of 1500 billion invested in subprime last 4 years = $75 billion in losses that need to find a home....auditors will be focussed hard in this area for provisions
