Is it possible to have a crash here?

October is the month associated with crashes and I do expect a low around then.

But '87 is an interesting study.

In '87 the 4 and 10 year cycles topped in August and the SP500 topped Aug 25th.

The market distributed and began to fall in a normal way.

But Armstrong's cycle was in up mode and topped Oct 19th, the day of the crash.

So Armstrong's up phase completion meant that there was no longer any support and in fact all three cycles were down and the market plunged in a day.

This time we had Armstrong's cycle turning down late Feb and that started many things down.

The 4 and 10 year cycles were still pointing up, but they top this month.

Unfortunately, I don't have any exact dates for those two cycles, just August.

But if you assume mid oe even late August then we are just about to have all 3 cycles down just like 19th Oct 1987.

Will that cause a crash here? I don't know, but it sure wouldn't surprise me.
