tenement positions for consolidation

  1. 1,263 Posts.
This map shows the main players in the CYIP. JMS has now been taken out by an effective reverse takeover offering no premium. HAW and MDX are the next likely candidates to get swallowed up. With little proven resources will they go cheaply? They better hurry and drill into something.

But what about the Portman (Cliffs) leases? They have the strongest tenement position in the area and have an infrastructure advantage. How attractive is the ground to Portman? They certainly don't muck around picking up ground as it becomes available. I have seen them pick up some of these leases immediately. They were one of the first in the area to acquire ground from other holders too, such as the deal with Iron Mountain.

Any ideas how this may play out?

    Its finally getting interesting anyway.
