The reason for the cap raising was to enable the company to progress towards becoming a gold producer. There are necessary steps that have to be taken along that path. I agree that the previous management team were not up to the job of achieving those steps, which is why they were changed. The new team has been pretty clear about the timing of the stages required, and for the most part have mainatined the timetable. It's not an exact science.
If I had lost faith in the management of a company I held stock in (and I have in the past) I would exit that stock, regardless of my entry price (and that's exactly what I did in that case). Sitting on a company with bad management hoping for the leopards to change their spots usually doesn't work.
