Great game with Wawrinka doing the impossible.

Not only knocking of Nadal, he is the first tennis player to beat both the World No. 1 & 2 in the same tournament and win the Championship. The way he disposed Djokovic earlier on, I thought that was pretty impressive. However, his first set against Nadal was brilliant. It was like a madman had been unleashed. Nadal at the time was showing no sign of backpain. Just shell shocked at the audacious way Wawrinka disposed of him. Wawrinka continued his onslaught in the second set.

The momentum swung the other way after Nadal had disappeared of the court. That was the game changer even though Nadal was obviously suffering from lower back problems
and worked his way back into the game to take the 3rd set.

Yet, it was Wawrinka to show real gutsy determination not to let the 4th set slip from his grasp.
