I asked a couple of questions about the thin sands at the IP but the answers went over my head but they were hoping that SNE oil was in the thin sands furthermost away from the drill and under Bellatrix. Needed Mandurah there. There was mention of FAR investigating/getting info another company (do not remember the name) that is in production and has over 1bboo all in thin sands. Although they knowledgeable about thin sands they must be gathering more info. Therefore could not release info on the thin sands until all info is collected.
FAR are also looking at getting more acreage on the cheap so keeping the results close to their chest is an advantage in achieving this as they have the knowledge from the drilling which helps on how to read the seismic data. My feeling was that FAR wanted this additional acreage ASAP.
