Reasonable question. No doubt we will see the usual ex-date sell off, but if you look at the past two div's TER has moved to the upside in the weeks post ex-date so see no reason this action won't occur again for the next div. I don't see any reason why the current up-trend will not continue at least in the short term (coal price dependent) so I'm somewhat confident at this point we could be getting back up to the $1.05 levels, but I do think we could see some resistance at the $1.05 level so don't think we'll see much than this in the lead up to our next ex-date. Let's assume our next div is circa 10 cents fully franked and our price is around that $1.05 level then yes come next ex-date I think the current approx resistance at $0.92 might turn into new support. To be honest it's all like reading tea leaves and I'm not much of a macro guy and nor do I understand the coal industry so what I say could well be a load of bollocks.
