The company has not firmly announced that they will go to half yearly dividends. From an announcement dated 28th Feb 23:
The Board remains committed to the payment of dividends to shareholders on a regular basis and is considering the frequency of future dividends. It will advise shareholders of any change in this regard.”
To date, no further developments on the matter appears, as there have been no official company announcements with regards to dividend policy changes. The company hinted however, that they are considering the frequency of future dividends. Thus unless and until the company announces policy changes, dividends as it stands are quarterly.
What is becoming more obvious is the likelihood of lower dividend payments going forward due to lower coal prices achieved for product sales (perhaps mitigated by increased sales shipments).AIMO
