I, too, have no idea about coal prices, but I wonder if they are being deliberately conservative (but never misleading) with their estimates of potential sales proceeds.
I watched/listened to JP's preso at the Small/Mid Cap Conference the other day and for some reason I just thought that his $500m figure for the reverse sale of Adani royalties just seemed a bit casual, off-handed, perhaps just a nice round figure.
Maybe PB and JP are setting us up for a pleasant surprise to the upside when both these announcements (sale of Teresa, sale of royalties) are made?? Maybe they don't want the market to be disappointed again (as it probably was when the Galilee sale terms were originally announced).
Just a thought...
