What do you think the chances of a takeover are today?
My thoughts are as follows.
• B.P have a monopoly in the Pilbra and ARW have dented it.
• B.P has been purchasing Bio companies internationally.
• The ARW Adelaide is located next to the Mobil plant.
• Impact of Carbon Credits.
• Major Oil Companies need to be seen to do the right thing.
• Shell and others offers ethanol added petrol.
• ARW has an Australian and USA licence to the environmentally friendly Energea process the USA licence must be worth a fortune.
• ARW can expand it Perth plant.
• Current capacity per plant 45 Mil Litres.
• Margins.
• Platform to expand in Australia and USA.
• Pressure on Majors to go Bio.
• ARW has sold to FMG.
• HBSC are backing ARW therefore the justification is there.
• ARW needs cash to expand.
• Shareholders would accept say $0.30 happily. But $1.00 in 12 Mths.
